python-fabio-dbg software package provides I/O library for images produced by 2D X-ray detector (debug ext), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-fabio-dbg
python-fabio-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-fabio-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-fabio-dbg *
You will get with python-fabio-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
